Tetrone A

Zonyl™ PTFE is a polytetrafluoroethylene white powders resins and different to TELON™ PTFE. The differences are lower molecular weight, smaller particle sizes (2 to 20 µm), particle shapes and morphology. The Zonyl™ designed primarily for use as minority components in mixtures with other solid or liquid materials for low friction, abrasion resistance and as processing aid to improve output.

Tetrone A is a rubber accelerator with sulfur content. It is used in place of elemental sulfur because it superior heat resistance to vulcanization. Normally, It is used in combination with sulfur, a thiazole, a thiuram, or a guanidine, the presence of which will increase cure rate and state of cure. It can be used in various elastomers such as NR, NBR, CSM, CR, EPDM, IR, IIR, SBR.

Performance properties

  • Heat resistance
  • Light-colored products

Application:

  • Roller
  • Hose
  • Belt
  • Seal
  • O-ring
