Zonyl™ PTFE is a polytetrafluoroethylene white powders resins and different to TELON™ PTFE. The differences are lower molecular weight, smaller particle sizes (2 to 20 µm), particle shapes and morphology. The Zonyl™ designed primarily for use as minority components in mixtures with other solid or liquid materials for low friction, abrasion resistance and as processing aid to improve output.
Zonyl™ PTFE grades provise :
- Enhance abrasion resistance
- Reduce coefficient of friction
- Reduce surface contamination
Application :
- Thermoplastic parts such as gears, benefit from improved wear resistance and reduced friction
- Elastomeric seals for improving in tear and abrasion resistance
- Inks or gravure inks can be formulated for better image protection and higher productivity
